Every first Tuesday in August is National Night our for multiple communities. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This year Glenn Dale was invited to attended the events in the Glenn Dale Crossing Community as well as the Fairwood Community. Members of the department were at each event speaking with community members about the job Glenn Dale does and to also have interested members fill out applications to join the department. It was great seeing all of our community members who attended.
