On June 13th, 2022 around 7:11pm Rescue Engine 18, Chief 18A, and Chief 18B were alerted to respond to a reported house fire in the 7000 Block of Palamar Terrace in Lanham. Rescue Engine 18 arrived as the first arriving unit and reported smoke and fire coming from an upstairs bedroom. Rescue Engine 18 quickly extinguished the fire and returned to service in a little over an hour.
