On May 28th, 2023 at approximately 6:16 am, Tower 18 was alerted to respond to the 15000 Block of Dunleigh Drive in Bowie for a reported house fire. When first arriving units arrived on scene they found the house fully engulfed with flames. The working fire dispatch was sounded and alerted Engine 181 to respond to the scene. Tower 18 set up tower ladder operations upon their arrival to the scene. Engine 181 worked with Engine 816 on side alpha extinguishing that side, as well as the garage area. The fire is still currently under investigation. This is the 3rd fire within 24 hours for the Career and Volunteer Crews who staffed the station over Memorial Day Weekend
