On May 27th, 2022 at approximately 0200 Hours,  Tower 18 was alerted to respond on the working fire dispatch for the apartment fire in the 6800 block of Riverdale Rd in Company 28’s first due. First arriving units went on scene with fire showing which eventually went to a 3rd alarm. The tower operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service. This was the second fire for the tower in under 24 hours.
